Become a Class Parent

So, you are interested in becoming a class parent?  Yay!

 

Becoming a class parent is a great way to get involved and make a difference in your child's education.

The responsibilities of a class parent may vary for each classroom, however, here is a list to help you get started:

• Create a Class Directory and Email List so that parents can communicate with each other

• Plan and recruit volunteers for holiday and year-end celebrations

• Assist teacher(s) with recruiting chaperones for class field trips

• Assist PTA during Teacher Appreciation Week activities

• Attend PTA meetings regularly in order to provide accurate information to other parents
