Become a Class Parent
So, you are interested in becoming a class parent? Yay!
Becoming a class parent is a great way to get involved and make a difference in your child's education.

The responsibilities of a class parent may vary for each classroom, however, here is a list to help you get started:
-
Create a Class Directory and Email List so that parents can communicate with each other
-
Plan and recruit volunteers for holiday and year-end celebrations
-
Assist teacher(s) with recruiting chaperones for class field trips
-
Assist PTA during Teacher Appreciation Week activities
-
Attend PTA meetings regularly in order to provide accurate information to other parents

It is very important that class parents communicate with their teachers on all activities. If you have any questions please reach out to the Classroom Parent Coordinator - Tiffany Tseng at pta@ps133qpta.com or the Parent Coordinator - Maryam Lamont at mlamont4@schools.nyc.gov.

If you are still interested after reading all that, and I hope you are, please fill out the form below and we will reach out to you.
